you need an operating system such as windows or linux or ubuntu unless you have a mac computers usually come with windows installed most of the web is set up for windows

LikeDislikehi jeany, your my best good friend. ya know jeany you sound like a person who is caught in the rain finding out that you locked your keys in the car and stuck with no umbrella. let me tell you that the only software that you have to buy is only what you want to buy. okay so it sounds like your computer is not starting rather than to let me guess what problems that you are having you should tell me so i can help you with it that is what i am here for. now not being able to see your computer i must refer you to a computer repairman he will diagnose your computer and make it act like a new one. now allow me to tell you about software i want office works so i bought it now this is how software works so do you like to talk to someone and see them when you talk to them buy yourself a mini camera and the software is there so everything that goes into the computer you must buy. good luck hope i was helpful to you
